Client Background

ARECO Technology Inc. brings innovative down-hole solutions that enhance well productivity while reducing operational costs. Our products significantly improve the effectiveness of completion, ensure safety, and optimize prolonged good performance. Ultimately, ARECO’s cost-effective technology focuses on ease of use and safety while helping our clients maximize oil & gas production.

Modernization & 3D

The client's website was very traditional. Products were presented as low-pixel photographs; the copy was dense and hard to read; information about upcoming events was difficult to access; the website was generally not user-friendly. The client wanted a clean and modern website to sport a new logomark, both following a new color palette of black/grey, crimson, and white. Furthermore, images on the website and in downloadable brochures should be 3D renders instead of actual photography. This will ensure quality while not disclosing precise form to competitors.

Brand Identity Design

ARECO's most innovative product is a perforation gun assembly that improves the oil and gas extraction process while reducing near-wellbore damage. The animation clip below shows a visual representation of their product at work, then at the end of the video, how the explosive performance is reflected in their logomark.

AWT-Logos-1(WEB).png
Client Background

Atlantic Weld Tech (AWT) develops and delivers state-of-the-art GTAW welding systems to enhance the construction and manufacturing efficiency for welding special metals and corrosion-resistant alloys.

AWT works to deliver the most reliable welding results while striving to improve working conditions for welders.

Company motto: WE WELD TRUST

Modernization & Improved Navigation

The client's website felt dated, and It lacked visual information; it was solely informative through clustered groups of dense text. There were barely any images, except for a messy collage in the header. The logo looked okay - it was a welded 'T' - and worked well because it was situated right above the company motto, "We Weld Trust." Place it anywhere else, and it would look out of place.

AWT is interested in a bold and modern website coupled with a brand new logomark to highlight its latest innovation. All designs should follow a new color palette composed of dark grey, marigold yellow, and white. The company website needs reorganization to be visually more user-friendly. There is much information, which is why the old website felt cluttered. The client would also like their new logomark photoshopped onto old photos, worker's equipment, and uniforms. Lastly, the client would like a couple of custom PowerPoint presentation backgrounds to match their new website aesthetic.

Identity Design

Atlantic Weld Tech's newest addition to their arsenal was an automated DPS-5G Narrow Groove GTAW Orbital Welding System. DPS stands for Dynamic Pendulum  System and is an automated tungsten pendulum-oscillation process. GTAW stands for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and is also known as TIG welding. The DPS system was developed in-house by AWT, and its innovation focuses on the tungsten pendulum that evenly spreads the molten weld puddle across a joint.

The GIF below shows the DPS system in action.

MoleBW
Client Background

Ruitong Enetech was a Chinese firm focused on developing oil and natural gas extraction tools. At the time of this project, Ruitong had just split into two companies - Ruitone Enetech stayed in China while the other registered as Areco in the United States.

Whimsical & Functional

The client wanted a whimsical logo for their newest product. The logo should feature a mascot of some kind that the company can use for trade show promotion. They would also like suggestions about the location of the logo on the product; it should be visible but not obstruct the usability of the product.

The product is a new perforation gun with state-of-the-art charges that can perforate underground formation more effectively than existing technology.

Logo Design

A mole was a good fit for the product's mascot. Both the animal and Ruitong's products were exceptionally effective at tunneling underground. Various trade show promotion products, including custom stress balls and plush toy key chains, were based on the design of the mole. Perforation guns ship in sections inside a metal tube, where a plastic gun cap covers both ends. The gun cap would be a good location for the logo. The color of the gun cap and the information on it can help differentiate between the two models of the product: YRS 3.125 and CFS 3.25.
